Right-Hand Walk-the-Dog Dribble

A foundation dribble that builds hand strength, touch and a steady rhythm — the base every other move is built on.

How to do it

Angle your body slightly and use your right hand to push and pull the dribble beside your right leg. Guide the ball forward and back, keeping your feet steady and your left hand free.

Coach cues

  • Push it forward, pull it back!
  • Feet steady, body angled!
  • Left hand free, keep control!
