Frequently asked questions
I can’t see my results yet.+
First assessment results usually appear within seconds. Retest results are analyzed in the background and are ready within 12 hours — we’ll send a notification if you have them turned on.
My retest couldn’t be analyzed.+
This happens if the clip is too dark, the ball or your full body isn’t visible, or the move isn’t a dribble. Your XP is returned automatically so you can retake it right away. Try brighter light and place your phone 2–3 m (6–10 ft) away at waist height.
How do I restore my Pro subscription?+
Sign in with the same account you used before, then tap Restore purchases on the Pro screen. Make sure you’re signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account that made the purchase.
How do I cancel Pro?+
iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → DribbleLift. Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DribbleLift.
Can I install the Android app without the Play Store?+
Yes. Download the APK from our home page and allow your browser to install apps when Android asks. If the Google Play version is installed, sign in to your account, then uninstall it first: the two versions can’t be installed over each other. The APK doesn’t update through Google Play, so download it again for new versions. Pro subscriptions are billed through Google Play.
What do I need to get started?+
A basketball, a phone, and enough space to dribble. Prop your phone up so it can see your whole body, then follow the on-screen setup. No extra equipment, sensors or wearables.
How does the assessment work?+
You perform five short dribbling moves in front of your phone camera. DribbleLift analyzes your control, rhythm and consistency and gives you a score out of 100 plus your key takeaway — the one thing to work on first.
Is it free?+
Yes. Your first assessment score and full report, the foundation workout and retest scores are free. DribbleLift Pro adds drill-by-drill retest coaching, your next focus after every retest and Pro workouts like Left / Right Hand Builder, Crossover and Combo Builder.
How much is Pro?+
Pro is $14.99 per month or $119.99 per year in the US, and both plans start with a 3-day free trial. Prices may vary by country and are shown in the app before you subscribe. Cancel anytime from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
What happens to my videos?+
Your first assessment uses still snapshots — no video is saved. Retest clips are uploaded only so they can be analyzed, and they are deleted automatically 30 days later. Only your scores and report text are kept. During regular training the camera works as a mirror: nothing is recorded or uploaded.
Who is DribbleLift for?+
Players 13 and older who want better handles — especially a stronger weak hand — without a coach standing next to them. Drills start at beginner level and get harder as you improve.
Do I need an internet connection to train?+
No. Demo videos and coach audio are built into the app, so workouts run offline. Assessments need a connection so your clips can be analyzed.
How do I delete my account?+
In the app, go to Profile → Account & privacy → Delete account. This removes your account, data and media right away. You can also request deletion on our delete-account page.
